It is mandatory that every student to attend one  of the three scheduled on-campus orientations. These orientions will be conducted  on Saturday February 4th at 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon,  Monday February 6th, and Tuesday  February 7th, 2012 at 3:00 PM to 5:00PM. All these orientaions will be  in TE 221. 
If you can not attend this orientation contact your instructor ASAP (before the orientation dates).

You must OFFICIALLY add the course through the resgistration either in person or online.  Before buying your acces code or book make sure yare  officially registered for the class.

This class has three on-campus tests;

   This class has three on-campus tests;
    First test is on Wednesday March 14th, 2012 at 4:30 PM in TE 221 covering chapters 1-3
    Second test is Wednesdat April 25, 2012 at 4:30 PM in TE 221 covering chapters 4- 6
    Final in on Friday June 3rd, 2012 at 10:00AM in TE 221 covering chapters 1-9

If for any reason you cannot attend any of these on-campus test you need to notify your teacher at leat one week before the test date to arrange a make up test.
 

Note: Any student who does not take any of the on-campus test on or before the test date will receive  "0" for the score of that exam.

Course Description: This course is a study of the properties of real numbers, laws of exponents, radicals, linear and quadratic equations and inequalities, solving system of linear equations in three or four variables, matrices, graphing linear and non-linear equations in two variables, operations with rational expressions, solving rational and radical equations, complex numbers, study of conic sections and their graphs, graphing of exponential and logarithmic functions.

Prerequisite: Math 113 and 114 or Math 115 with a grade of “C” or better or placement process.
