The mandatory on-campus orientation
is on Monday August 31st 2009or
Wednesday September 2nd at 4:00 PM to 5:00PM in LRC 004 (basement of the
Library).
If you can not attendthis orientation

This class has three on-campus tests;
First
test is on Saturday October10 th, 2009 at 9:00AM in LRC 004 covering chapters
1-3
Second test is Saturday Noveber 21, 2009 at 9:00AM in LRC 004 covering
chapters 4- 7
Final in on Friday December 19th, 2009 at 9:00AM in LRC 004 covering chapters
1- 10.
Note: Any student who does not take any of the on-campus test on or before the test date will recieve an "0" for the score of that exam.

In order to start your class work, you need to register into virtual class.
To register you need the following
1. Your book that package
with MathZone software. Or buy the access code online online.
2. You need to have a
vaild email addrress. If you don't have one you can obtain free email addrress
from www.hotmail.com
or www.yahoo.com
3. In order to register,
you need the course ID which is BA8-99-8B9
To register for your textbook website: (MathZone):
Go to http://www.mathzone.com
select your book. "Bello: Intermediate Algebra,
2e" from pull down menue.
Click on first time user on lower left handside
of the page

If you successfully register your book and
have your username and password and know how to navegate through the course,then
you don't need to come to orientation. Otherwise you need to
attend the orientation.
Read the textbook, work examples, and do
exercises after each section. Use Student Solution Manual for help.
If you have any question please email your
instructor form the course room immediately.
Make sure to finish all the sections assigned
for each week and do not let yourself to get behind. Try to be ahead of
the schedule.
If you need help or
facing unexpected sitution please contact me ASAP.
The online tests
are only active for days as schedule in the class calendar. Do not miss
those date.
Refer to the class calendar for the dates
of the on-campus tests.
If you can not come to on-campus test let
me know before the test date to arrange another test date for you.
Bring a picture ID with you when coming
to take an on-campus test.
There will be No Make up for any of the
exams. If you fail to attend any of the exams you will receive Zero point
for that exam ( unless pre-arrange).
If you you do not take the final exam,
you will receive Zero point for the final exam.
In case of emergency, you must email me,
and with the proper documentation, a make up exam may be granted.
Online quizzes for the sections you are
taking the exams must be done before each on-campus exam.
Grading Policy:
Your semester grade depends on total points earned in the course.
The break down of the points is as follows:
Note: As long as you take all the online quizzes ( on time) and
receive 85% or better, you will get the full 150 points for the online
quizzes. Use the online tutorial and quizzes to prepare for the on-campus
exams.
