Important Dates for 2003-2004:
Professional Development Forms (formerly known as FLEX forms) will be due June 10, 2004 and final reporting will be completed by Staff Development by June 30, 2004. Staff Development is happy to announce that funds are now available for conference and travel. Funds are available until June 30, 2004. Please see guidelines below. Conference/Travel Attendance Policy 1. Beginning January 2, 2004, conference/travel requests should be made three weeks in advance, but no less than a week in advance. All forms can be found on the LATTC Staff Development website and/or the President’s office. All forms must be typed. Requestor must ensure that adequate funds have been requested to cover all necessary expenses. Requestor will not be allowed to request additional funds after forms have been turned in. 2. Only two (2) people per department may attend the same conference unless previously approved by the Staff Development Committee. 3. Late requests will not be approved. If an employee attends a conference without prior approval, there will be no reimbursement of funds spent. 4. Reimbursement for conference/workshop/travel cost is limited to $250 for Full-Time Faculty, $100 for Adjunct Faculty and $200 for Classified per person per year. Total funds available for Spring 2004 only limited to $5,000 for Faculty and $5,000 for Classified. Funds will be allocated until they are depleted. 5. Registration fees can be paid in advance with sufficient notice and documentation. Please attach documentation for prepay. 6. All receipts must be turned in within 10 working days after the end of the conference or workshop. 7. Anyone attending a conference/workshop must submit a written report with reimbursement forms within 10 working days and share materials and information with appropriate colleagues.

Go to <https://www.amlink.com.au/secure/teched04rego.htm> and register for the conference online, placing the word COMP after your name and clicking on the ‘EXHIBITS ONLY’ button. It will then change over to full conference registrations. 2. The California Community College Council for Staff Development is holding their annual conference at Tech Ed Register for the 4C/SD Conference "Partnership Day", Monday March 22, 2004 and be concurrently registered for the TechEd Conference, March 22-24, all for $50 To register for the 4C/SD Conference, and receive your complementary TechEd registration, go to www.4csd.org. 3.
