Step 1 Picture of Step 1 This strangle is applied when the opponent is on his/her hands and knees.  You begin by reaching across their back with your left hand and grab their left lapel and pull it back through the armpit.
Step 2 Picture of Step 2 Slide your right hand up the lapel you are holding iwht your left hand.  Slide it up as far as you can under the chin.  Keep pulling the left hand to keep the slack out of the lapel as you are sliding yur right hand up.
Step 3 Picture of Step 3 Push forward and drive your weight down so the opponent flattens out.  This is known as breaking the opponent down.
Step 4 Picture of Step 4 Transfer your left hand from the lapel to the top of the opponent's left wrist and pull it into his/her stomach as you pull your right hand to you.  Shoot your left leg forward in the sit-out position and keep your wieght and hips on their head and shoulder area.  Keep your hips off the ground as you press your weight down and continue to pull their lapel under their chin with your right hand.
