Step 1
Your partner is in the standard defensive position with his elbows and knees on the mat.
You begin on his right side and put your left hand through his right armpit and grab his left
lapel high up on the collar with your palm facing away from you. Now place your right hand
on the collar behind his neck.
Step 2
Maintain the grip from Step 1 and align yourself parallel to your
partner. Pull him straight over backwards as you also fall onto your
back. He should fall next to you, not on top of you.
Step 3
As soon as your back hits the mat begin turning away from your partner
(to your right) and make a full revolution that stops when your chest is
on top of their chest. Your left hand reaches for the belt and then
your right hand also reaches for the belt as you engulf their upper arm
area with your arms.
