The Mexican-American in the Political and Social History of the United States II
Course Description:

This course will examine the historical development of the United States of America from the close of the Civil War to the present with special emphasis on the history of the Mexican-American. Emphasis on the relationship of regions, both internal and external, the role of major ethnic and social groups, the continuity of the American experience, and its derivation from other cultures, politics, economics, social movements, and its geography will be examined. This course will examine the Constitution of the United States of America, and the constitution of the State of California. Political philosophies, political institutions, amendments and interpretation, the rights and obligations of citizens, Federal/State, State/local government, and contemporary state/local/federal government relationships will be examined.

Log into the Moodle server using your Student ID number. Your login id is your student identification number (begins with 88). Your password is originally set to MMDD of your birth month and day. You can change it once you log in.

Your classroom might not open until the first day of the term. The accounts take three business days to appear in the Moodle server after you register for the class.

If you do not know your student identification number, you can log into the Student Information System using your social security number, but that only works if you gave the college your social security number.
