The student also learns how to jump and dive into the water as well as how to tread water.

In this class we will review pool safety and advance your skills in the Freestyle, Backstroke, and Elementary Backstroke. You will then learn the complete Sidestroke and Butterfly and learn how to swim the Breaststroke. We also will advance your diving skills, your ability to tread water and teach you how to do the Eggbeater kick.
