Diane was a founding member of the Los Angeles Dance Theatre, a Graham based modern company that specialized in revival of classical contemporary works. She recently returned to the company to perform a revival of excerpts of Agnes De Mille's dream ballet from "Carousel". She was also Artistic Director, choreographer and dancer with Dime-A-Dance Co., a modern collective that toured nationally and internationally, and won first place in the Cologne Dance Festival in Germany in 1982.
She has been Associate Artistic Director of Pasadena Civic Ballet Co. since its inception in 1980. This company has won numerous awards and has been U.S. Cultural Representatives to Europe and China. She has choreographed numerous musicals, including Cabaret, Guys and Dolls, Godspell, and the Wiz.
Diane has been Director of Dance at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College since 1979, where with co-director Danielle Brown, she has developed the Dance Ensemble into a polished performing group that represents the college in the arts events in the L.A. area and throughout California. They are preparing video tapes of their concerts to be released on the local cable channels.
Currently she is also designing, choreographing and touring with children's artist Joanie Bartels and the Silly Time Dancers. In addition, she owns and operates THEATRE THREADS, a custom costume design company specializing in dance.
