Our College

Our  Program

The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Program at LATTC  is arguably the most elite two year program in the United States.   The  Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Program is a rigorous program covering a wide spectrum of  refrigeration and air conditioning industry sectors. Students will not only learn the theory and fundamentals of refrigeration, but also be exposed to  hands-on training in some of the most sophisticated laboratories in the nation.  The program is modern and up-to-date with our new "Control lab"  which includes state-of-the-art computer stations utilized for BAS (Building Automation System) and computerized "Heat Loads and Duct Design" calculations featuring the industry standard Right-Suite software.  Other courses include: piping principles and practices, electrical controls, servicing procedures, IAQ (Indoor Air Quality), troubleshooting, airflow measurements, refrigerant management, heat pumps, industrial refrigeration, liquid chillers, hydronics and much more!
